Andrew is a skilled paperhanger, experienced with specialist papers and the specific hanging requirements these often have.

Interior paintwork

Andrew undertakes the correct preparation treatment a surface requires, and provides a neat paint finish on walls, ceilings or woodwork, using an appropriate paint type and brand for the property.

Plaster covings, ceiling roses and other architectural ornamentation

Andrew will renovate old plaster ornamentation to improve its appearance, or reinstate mouldings and features where they have been removed from a property in the past.

Tiling – floors and walls

Andrew will undertake tiling as part of a kitchen, bathroom or conservatory project, or do a specific area of tiling as required.

Installation of kitchens

Andrew will install a kitchen from scratch, working with the client to ensure the best and most cost effective layout is achieved for the kitchen. Andrew will also undertake simple renovation of kitchen cabinet doors where the existing layout and unit frame is to be retained.

Installation of bathrooms

Andrew will install a bathroom from scratch, advising on optimum layout in relation to space and utilities.

Working with Wood

Andrew will lay wooden flooring, both traditional boards and modern interlocking wooden flooring systems.

Andrew will also create bespoke features as required, such as fitted cupboards, shelving, radiator covers and the like.

Exterior Paintwork and Windows

Andrew specialises in the care and repair of sash windows, often restoring sash windows as part of a project.

Andrew undertakes exterior paintwork projects, although please bear in mind that weather usually restricts any larger jobs to dry periods during late spring, summer and early autumn.
